ASUU STRIKE: AAUA STUDENTS ISSUE 14 DAYS ULTIMATUM

THE PRESS STATEMENT FROM THE STUDENTS
UNION ADEKUNLE AJASIN UNIVERSITY AKUNGBA-AKOKO,
ONDO STATE.
It is pertinent at this juncture to state without iota of doubt,
the challenges of our dear students, we can no longer keep
our silence while this current two months old ASUU strike in
AAUA destroys the futures of the over 15000 students of this
Noble institution.
It is a popular saying that our life ends when we decide to
keep silent on issues affecting us. The two months old
ASUU strike has done more harm than good to our students
particular the 500l Law students preparing for their Law
school and the final year students who were supposed to
write their last examination by september. Destinies has
been hold down due to this protracted strike and as a result
of that we the Students of Adekunle Ajasin University are
very sick and tired of this strike and can no longer condone
it.
Moreso in any of the struggle we embark upon, the interest
of the Students must be annessed and well catered for,
many of our students have got themselves involved in many
unwholesome practices due to the fact that their idle.
In view of this salient point we are giving the members of
ASUU, the university management and the state government
14 DAYS ultimatum to reach a compromise of which by
virtues of this press statement after the expiration of this 14
DAYS ultimatum, the Students will have to take destiny into
their own hands and take the centre stage.
Yours in struggle
